About the Project

MacDonald Street is an open plan five bedroom residence built over three levels around a central courtyard. Built on a steep block in a bushfire 'flame zone' and designed to withstand southerly coastal conditions, the project included many non-standard details and materials including rammed earth walls, polished concrete floors, off-form concrete eave and ceiling detail, a swimming pool and substantial landscaping.
