About the Project

Pretty Beach House is one of Australia’s most exclusive luxury lodges. The main house is a collection of premium facilities including open plan kitchen, spectacular dining room, sandstone open fireplace, guest lounge, library, bar, wine cellar, day spa, outdoor infinity pool and poolside pizza oven for al-fresco dining.

BlairBuild's brief was to re-build the luxury lodge following a fire using local Gosford sandstone, mud bricks from Bega and timber sourced decommissioned bridges and railways across Australia. The project saw extensive use of large hardwood bridge timbers that were craned into place and hand saw for final fitment.

Pretty Beach House has been the recipient of numerous awards since it's rebuild, the most recent of which is the 2018 Condé Nast Traveler Gold List Award.
